WRITE: ONE PARAGRAPH Discuss ONE aspect discussed by author Seidman that speaks to YOUR HEART? ONE MAJOR point made that has the biggest impact as you embark on the "Science Of Happiness". Why did you choose this particular point? PROVIDE CONCRETE EXAMPLES in your response by STATING For Example, make a statement and provide a CLEAR QUOTE.
2. RE-READ " What Makes People The Happiest" by Ipsos a Global Survey
WRITE- Highlight the countries with the highest levels of happiness.. Discuss the top 5 factors and potential sources that predict happiness. Based on your findings , what is the most interesting percentage and why?
3. ADDED ARTICLE: PRINT AND ACTIVELY READ: " Using Epicurean Philosophy to Find Happiness" by Blackburn
Answer the following in your notebook based on the Blackburn article.
- Identity the elements of Epicurean Philosophy. Label a list in your notebook and then rank them in order of importance to you.
- What did you choose as your number 1 ? What was the least? Why?
- Choose One significant point that Blackburn makes. Write the point down in your notebook. then WRITE FOR EXAMPLE- on page... Then extract a quote from that particular point to support your ideas... then share the purpose of why you chose it.
4. WEEKEND BONUS - INDEX CARD - WEEKEND HAPPY BONUS : Go out of your way to make another person happy this weekend by complimenting them ! It must be a stranger. It can be a compliment of any kind.. make it count! Document on the index card - the encounter, the reaction an how it made you feel. Compliments can be simple or grand.. but they always have a feel good factor for both you and the recipient..
