GET READY!! OUR FIRST WRITING WORKSHOP!!  COME PREPARED!

Follow the Directions below CAREFULLY- READ, PRINT and Respond to the Question IN YOUR NOTEBOOK.. PRINT THE OUTLINE SHEET.. Come prepared

Part I-  PRINT and READ ALL FIVE ARTICLES POSTED BELOW... Once you have ACTIVELY READ all the articles.. answer the questions in your notebook. 



 Your response should be in your note- book. However,  once you have printed your article  re-read it and highlight all of the important elements. 

REMEMBER active reading!   TAKE NOTES AS YOU READ! You will not be able to analyze an article if you do not read it twice, highlight important elements and write on the actual article any questions, connections or thoughts. 

Active Reading is necessary in achieving what is called critical thinking!
