Secularism is the belief that religion should not play a role in government, education, or other public parts of society. It does not allow you to openly observe your religious beliefs or customs.
ReplyDelete1. Banning of religious clothing in public schools (burka, turban, etc.)
2. Not allowing students to recite the pledge in school (“one nation under God”)
3. Taking “In God We Trust” off of all currency
4. Not allowing freedom of speech regarding religion on public streets
Religious Freedom is having the right to believe in a god or a group of gods and following the rules of your chosen religion. Have the freedom to be able to follow your religious beliefs or observances in public without discrimination.
1. Preach religion on public corners
2. The wearing in public of any religious clothing (burka) or jewelry (Cross, Star of David etc.)
3. Mailing or handing out religious brochures, going door to door to speak about your religion
4. Religious Observance (Christmas, Rosh Hashanah, Kwanzaa, etc.)
Bravo ! This is great work!
