Next Class 9/15

* Many of the groups today truly did a wonderful job collaborating ideas and developing strong outlines that include thesis and topic sentences.

Continue to work tonight on your own so that you can wrap up your outlines on Thursday in class.
Here is the outline worksheet I would like for you to print and have in your folder.

Your outlines should Encompass:

* Thesis
3 Topic Sentences ( Each Topic Sentence should have examples and quotes to Support it)  A TOPIC SENTENCE IS A MAIN POINT THAT SUPPORTS YOUR THESIS. YOU DERIVE MAIN POINTS FROM THE ARTICLE YOU READ. YOUR TOPIC SENTENCES CAN BE CONSTRUCTED FIRST . THIS COULD HELP TO CONSTRUCT THESIS. OR... YOU CAN DEVELOP A THESIS FIRST AND THEN BUILD YOUR MAIN POINTS FROM THERE.

Final Analysis- Your evaluation (Conclude intelligible ideas based on the article) THINK OUTSIDE OF THE BOX!

 I would like to  mention that you will continue to work in your mini groups for 20 minutes on Thursday.  Presentations will begin toward the end of class. We will roll the dice to see which groups will go first.

I handed out some sheets of large paper to each group to bring with you to class on Thursday. I will bring in the markers so the groups can complete the outlines for presentation.
