Please work on your Introductions and Final Analysis for Thursday. You should work on it for Homework and pull it all together on Thursday. We will share them on Thursday in class!
I will have the groups sit together for 15 minutes and then share them!!
We will move into another segment on Thursday. Religion and Identity.
In this segment we will focus on not only thesis but topic sentences and Final Evaluation.
For those of you who were absent: Pretend you are writing a paper on Assimilation and Acculturation as it relates to Immigration and Identity in the U.S.
Analyze all three sources. These include: "Should Immigration Require Assimilation" by Tom Gjeltan, The Video "Immigration in Today's World" by Facing History and Ourselves and "Two Ways to Belong in America" by Bharati Mukherjee.
Develop an Introduction that encompasses a Background and Thesis (6-7 sentences).
Develop a Final Analysis (6-7) Sentences
